Leading Edge Alliance, an international professional association of accounting and consulting firms, has admitted Jones & Roth as a member.

Leading Edge Alliance is one of the largest international associations of independently-owned accounting and advisory firms in the world. 

Leading Edge Alliance has 140 member firms located in some 80 countries including the United States.

 “Our membership in the Leading Edge Alliance enables Jones & Roth to tap  the resources of a multibillion dollar global professional services organization,” Doug  Griesel, managing partner of Jones & Roth, pointed out. 

“In addition to the considerable talent in our firm, we will now have access to the best and brightest accounting professionals and world class business advisors through our association with the Leading Edge Alliance,” Griesel added.

 “Our firm’s ability to consult on international tax issues and establish business relationships in foreign countries such as China  is enhanced as a result of our Alliance membership, Griesel said. 

Two well deserved community service awards were presented recently to Alyce Dawes and Jerry Willey at the Hillsboro Chamber’s annual awards dinner.

Jerry Willey, a partner and shareholder, received the Bob Herb Leadership Award for his two decades of service to the Hillsboro and Washington County community.

“Jerry’s leadership in the past couple of decades has earned him this award,” Bob Herb commented. Herb added, “Through the years Jerry has showed consistent leadership, tremendous attitude, and a generous spirit in giving back his time and energy”.

“Jerry has been actively involved in many organizations and causes over the years, “according to Hillsboro City Manager Tim Erwert. “He is always more than willing to give both time and money for good causes in the city, ” Erwert added.

Alyce Dawes, a Jones and Roth senior manager, was honored with the Chamber’s Volunteer of the Year Award.

Dawes has served six years on the Chamber’s Leadership Advisory Council, including the past three years as Council Chair. “Alyce is just a high quality person; no matter what issue or cause, she is always the first to take positive steps to get it done,” Keith Peal, chamber board chairman, pointed out.

Additionally, Dawes has volunteered for numerous other Chamber projects and events.

Dawes and Willey are both located in the Jones & Roth Hillsboro office.

“These new teams are made up of professionals in our firm who have many years of experience servicing these specific clients,” Doug Griesel, managing partner, said.

“With the addition of these new teams, we now have 21 specialized industry and service teams to better serve our clients,” Griesel added.
