Emily Sehlaoui, CPA

Emily joined Jones & Roth in 2017 after beginning her public accounting career at a mid-sized firm in her home state of Kansas before making the move west to Oregon.

Emily provides tax advisory, planning, and preparation services for individuals and small businesses across a wide variety of industries. She enjoys building lasting relationships with clients and helping business owners navigate both the technical side of tax and the many decisions that come with owning and growing a business.

Outside of work, Emily enjoys getting a good belly laugh from one of her three daughters or talking her husband’s ear off about her latest book. She enjoys a quiet, slow, rainy day just as much as a casual, sunny brunch outing. Her current favorite weekend activity is exploring local cafés and bakeries with her family. Her latest “side quest” has been to learn Arabic, her husband’s first language.

A fun fact about Emily is that, growing up on a farm in a small town in southwest Kansas, she learned how to drive a tractor before she learned how to drive a car.
