Brandon Meyers
People Development & Client Experience Manager
Brandon spent 4.5 years working at a “Big Four” accounting firm where he led end-to-end university recruitment across 7 offices in 4 states, overseeing everything from candidate sourcing to training and onboarding. Prior to his time in public accounting, he held various capacities in higher education administration, from career services to large scale campus events. He thoroughly enjoys connecting with young and experienced professionals about their careers, professional motivations, and ambitions.
At Jones & Roth, he leads the effort to connect our external talent attraction and internal talent development efforts with the firm’s client-facing growth initiatives. He leads the design and execution of scalable people programs, ranging from end-to-end recruiting and structured onboarding to the development of advanced leadership and communication training for team members at all career stages. His focus is on creating a consistent, professional experience that begins the moment a candidate applies and carries through to the long-term success of our employees and clients.
Outside of work, Brandon is an avid traveler, lifelong hockey fan, and enthusiastic explorer. Originally from Buffalo, NY, he remains a devoted Bills (NFL) and Sabres (NHL) supporter and travels annually to see the Sabres play. Along with his husband, he has visited 31 states and 14 countries, and he’s on a mission to reach 45 countries before turning 45. Now based in Portland, they love advocating for the city, spending time with family and friends, and catching every Best Picture nominee in movie theaters. He recently completed a solo backpacking trip through South Korea, Thailand, and Japan — an unforgettable reminder of the value of stepping outside your comfort zone and seeing the world.
