Tax Advisory: Oregon

On Monday, November 9th, the Emergency Board of the Oregon Legislature approved an additional $20 million to Business Oregon’s Emergency Business Assistance Grant Fund.

This round makes some changes to previous rounds of grant funding under the program, so that businesses not eligible in earlier rounds can now access grant funding. Businesses with up to 100 employees can apply, whereas previous funding was limited to those with up to 25 employees, to ensure the smallest business could access the funds first. Also, this new round will now consider applications from businesses that have already received assistance through the CARES Act.

Businesses can apply directly through the Business Oregon website.

The round of funding released at 3PM on Thursday Nov. 19 has CLOSED to new applications. They have already hit the initial limit for funding requests. They will post updates on the Business Oregon website if, after initial review of applications received, they have room for more applicants.
