Sara Hummel, CPA

Background:

 Sara specializes in Single Audits of nonprofit organizations and local governments.  She also devotes significant time to affordable housing industry clients, particularly those with Low Income Housing Tax Credits.

 

Sara is the Quality Control Director for Jones & Roth’s accounting and auditing practice.  As such, she is responsible for monitoring the firm’s accounting and auditing practice for compliance with professional standards, educating staff at all levels, and coordinating the firm’s external peer review.  Sara also conducts Peer Reviews for other CPA firms in Oregon and other states.

 

Sara began her public accounting career in 1999 and joined Jones & Roth in 2002.  Sara graduated from the University of Oregon with a B.A. in Linguistics.

 

Sara is a member of Southtowne Rotary, the Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants, the OSCPA Peer Review Committee, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  Sara is also a board member, former board member, or volunteer for a number of local nonprofit organizations.
