He has served on the Board of Directors of the McKenzie Willamette Hospital Foundation, Junior Achievement, Big Brother/Big Sister,  the Eugene Symphony, the Town Club of Eugene, and the Oregon State University-Cascade Foundation.  He has served on the State Board of Accountancy and Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants.
