Active in Lane Community College’s Business Development Center and teaches business accounting classes through SCORE.  He is a member of the Eugene Executive Association.

Has been involved with Junior Achievement, YMCA, and KidSports coaching.

He has lived in Eugene his entire life, and married his high school sweetheart.
