Background:

Doug has directed Jones & Roth's Information Technology department since 1997 expanding to a Wide Area Network that services our three offices from a single location in Eugene.  The innovations employed to accomplish this remotely administered, cost effective, and performance enhanced network of over 20 servers, 100 workstations, 50 printers, IP telephony centralized phone system, and multifactor security authentication system are leveraged to provide our Business Information Services (BIS) clients with the same level of service.  As the Director of the BIS service niche, Doug coordinates our team of seasoned Microsoft Certified System Engineers to provide design, integration, and support for Jones & Roth clients who benefit from highly trained professional team.

Doug has over 40 years of professional experience that includes experience designing mainfram computers, 19 years of research at the University of Oregon's Institute of Molecular Biolgy, computer modeling and instrument control, and network design.  In addition to advanced certifications, he has over six Microsoft Systems Engineer certifications from Windows NT to Windows 2003, XP, Exchange server, and advanced security.
