Manages the firm’s Retirement Plan Service Department providing retirement plan design, installment, third-party administration, and audit services. He also manages the Employee Benefit Plan Services Department and is the firm’s designated partner of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountant’s Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center. Gary serves individuals and small closely-held businesses in tax preparation, tax planning, retirement planning, and wealth management.

Joined Jones & Roth in 1979 and became a partner in January 1999. 

Education

Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Oregon. 

Affiliations

He has served on the Boards of the Eugene Kiwanis, Springfield Community Development Corporation, Center for Community Counseling, McKenzie Business Association, Eugene / Springfield Tax Association, Cascade Festival of Music and Tower Theatre Foundation of Bend.  He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants, Financial Services Institute, and American Institute of Certified Public Accountant's Employee Plan Audit Quality Center.
