Job Opportunity :: Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant: Jones & Roth, a leading regional CPA and business consulting firm, has exciting career opportunities for December and June graduates as staff accountants in our Eugene, Hillsboro & Bend offices.

Requirements include a bachelors degree in accounting.  Responsible for applying their technical skills and working as part of a team carrying out accounting projects under the supervision of the accounting manager.  Ability to apply self to learning and increasing technical skills, co-operative team player with a high interest in auditing and tax segment of public accounting.

Expectations include working to achieve a CPA license through formal learning channels. Build working relationships at peer client level. Seeks to gain knowledge of client businesses. Effectively documents work and implements solutions for clients. Can identify task issues as well as task progress in a timely and organized manner. Assists in proposal development and research gathering as requested. Works to continuously improve quality of work. Meets assigned objectives, timeframes, budgets, and outcomes. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a ‘can do’ team approach to completing projects.

Will be interviewing in the fall for up to four positions in Eugene, up to two in Hillsboro and one in Bend.
