Retirement Plan Services
We began offering
employee benefits pension and profit sharing services to provide
added value to our business clients. We found many clients looking
for progressive strategies to attract, retain, and strengthen ties
with their employees. Retirement plans represent one benefit available
to help build loyal relationships between employers and employees.
In response, Jones & Roth made a commitment to provide a high
quality retirement plan resource for businesses.
The Jones &
Roth employee benefits team combines education, experience and credibility
to deliver accurate and responsive plan design and administrative
services. Our professionals have the experience and qualifications
necessary to help ensure that your retirement plan meets your needs.
We can assist
you with the design and review of your plan and either the administration
or an audit of your plan.

nondiscrimination tests as required by governmental agencies

all IRS, Department of Labor and other governmental agencies'
reports required by law.

reports for management summarizing individual and aggregate plan
records, account allocations, investment results, and participant

Plan Audits
The U.S. Department
of Labor requires pension plans with more than 120 participants
to receive an annual audit from an independent, qualified party.
At Jones & Roth, we provide plan
audit services to those clients who use another service provider
to administer their plan. We do so because we believe there is a
conflict of interest in auditing a plan for which we also act as
plan administrator.
We will provide
you with a copy of the audit, to attach to the annual Form 5500.
During the course of our audits we propose any adjustments as we
find them so there are no "hidden" surprises in the audit
findings.
Because these
plan audits are required by law, few clients expect to receive significant
value in them beyond the scope of the audit. However, our employee
benefits team strives to provide added value through reviewing control
procedures and identifying methods for improving workflows whenever
possible. We see ourselves as a partner to our clients, not just
for the audit, but in improving their overall business functionality
and profitability in any manner.
Audits for
other third-party administrators
If your firm
provides third-party administration and needs another firm to audit
your clients' plans, we are happy to provide these audits without
competing for the client's administration work.
